Organist Samuel Liegion has won the 2008 prix du Concours International d'Improvisation de Strasbourg. This evening he will be playing an hour of Bach style improv, then French baroque and finishing off with a symphony in 4 movements.

The 84th Fête des Guides
The Guides Festival takes place every year on 14th and 15th August. It combines traditional folklore with modern expertise and offers a wonderful spectacle for all those attending the celebrations. Friendship and conviviality are the keywords to these festivities....

Les Grands Montets is scheduled to close for the season August 30th.

Les Grands Montets could be open for the Toussaint holidays (25 Oct - 5 Nov) and the last 3 weekends in November snow permitting.

Unique in its kind, this event crosses 3 countries on foot (France, Italy and Switzerland), covers 158 kilometres and 8,500 metres climb in one fell swoop. A race with a time limit of 45 hours, the current held record being 21 hours and 6 minutes.
