In association with Salomon, les Grands Montets is playing host to the new young freeriders (9-15) for the French stage of the Salomon Jib Academy,
The programme includes coaching, semi-final and final on the same day, when riders take each other on in a "jam session" on a slopestyle. The winner will take part in the final which takes place in the USA.

It is now official!!! Chamonix Mont-Blanc and the Verte piste in Les Houches will hold a downhill and super combined event (downhill and slalom), both of which will count towards the men’s 2008 Alpine World Cup.

Chamonix Mont-Blanc accueillera, deux épreuves de descentes hommes comptant pour la Coupe d'Europe 2008. Se déroulant juste après le Kandahar, ces épreuves vont permettre aux futurs vainqueurs des coupes du monde de pouvoir à leur tour descendre la mythique piste Verte des Houches.
