To celebrate the 100th anniversay of the SNCF line, Saint Gervais - Vallorcine, 2 open days are organised at the Saint Gervais -le Fayet station. There will be an exhibition, a sustainable development stand, film projections, and more - even take a ride in the engine cabin between Saint Gervais and Chedde.

Flegere is scheduled to open for the season June 7th.

A big party to celebrate the 10th year of the club's existance. Giant barbecue on Saturday with demonstrations of and initiation to Hapkido and Taekwondo. The celebrations will continue into the evening with the traditional, annual Martial Arts Gala.

The Prarion gondola is scheduled to open for the season June 14th.

The Bellevue Cable Car is scheduled to open for the season June 14th.

The Mont Blanc Tramway opens for the summer season.

Le Tour is scheduled to open for the season June 14th: Charamillon gondola and Autannes chairlift to the Col de Balme.

The Vallorcine gondola is scheduled to open for the season June 28th.

JUNE 29 2008 - Mont-Blanc Marathon : 42,195 km from the centre of Chamonix to Planpraz, Vallorcine and the mountains with 2240m vertical up and 1200m vertical down.
