Previously the Vol Libre Mont Blanc, the St.Gervais Paragliding club (Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc Vol Libre) has taken over this annual event and renamed it the 4807 Flying Light. This week long event includes demonstrations, outings, test material, and culminates with a flight off Mont Blanc (for experienced flyers).

To celebrate Chamonix' 30th anniversary of partnership with Fujiyoshida, a group from Fujiyoshida will play concerts in the street and host a manga art demonstration. Rendez-vous Saturday at the market(11:00), Place Balmat (14:30), the library (16:30), and the Majestic (18:00). Sunday morning concert on the train to Montenvers at 9:00.
