Chamonix has been having a cultural exchange with sister city Garmisch Partenkirchen for years. Come listen to the music in the Garmish Plaza (outside Irish Coffee) all weekend and at they'll play in the little tourist trian that circulates Chamonix at 18:00 on Friday, and at 10:00 on Saturday and Sunday.

Cycling race for Valley resident from Servoz to Vallorcine. Teams of two people, wither 1 adult + 1 child or 2 adults. (mixed team possible so no idea why its called the Gentleman's race!) Regitration on Sat (5 euros) at the Sports Centre. Race is on Sunday.

The second edition of the Trail des Aiguilles Rouges.
The trail starts in Les Houches and finishes in Chamonix, after traversing 3 natural reserves. This technically difficult and ecological course with its 50km and more than 3500m vertical has attracted some of the big names in trail running.
