Argentiere is a lively village and the bar has a great selection of sociable customers. They are predominantly English speaking; coming from Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden and other northern European nations.
The total surface area is 135 sq meters, including bar and restaurant areas, kitchen & toilets. There is another 25 sq meters of cellar space in the basement.
The Bar & Restaurant, area A & B (see below), has about 60 seats, plus 30 seats on the terrace (during spring & summer).
There is more seating in the pool & games area, but we do not use this for food at the moment.
There is a false ceiling that hides a 4 m high true ceiling.

We are selling the FOND DE COMMERCE (business) together with the LICENSE IV (sale of alcohol with or without food). Not all the restaurants have this license. It costs about €25,000 in it's own right.
Also, we have permission to sell TAKE AWAY food.
We own a part of the property as well, areas C & D on the drawing (see below). This is the pool table & games area. Ownership of this is interesting because this part of the premises could be separated from the bar / restaurant, and be developed as an apartment. It used to be an apartment 20 years ago. We own the cellars as well.
The lease for the bar & restaurant area (parts A & B) is €1760 per month.

Even though the business is still growing, we are selling because we would like to move out of the Chamonix Valley.
Normally, we close 6/7 weeks in May/June and from mid September to the end of November.
