      THE HERD

            The herd is currently composed of:
          o about fifty goats, bred SAANEEN, dress entirely white
          o 3 males; "lou'bio z'an", the best years in local dialect, and the two latest arrivals "Rupicapra" and "Grisou"

      THE FARM

            The brand new building was completed in summer 2006. It includes:
          o room for the reception of public, forest ambiance and warm atmosphere decoration

          o part with cheese factory, with hall and cellars

          o and part goat house

            The facilities were designed for comfort and well-being of the herd.

      MANUFACTURING

            PASCAL offers cheeses called "farmer cheese"
            They are exclusively manufactured at the farm or on the pasture with the proceeds of milking goats.
            All stages of manufacturing at the refinery are made in the farm.

      OUR CHEESES

            You can discover and enjoy a wide range of:
          o Tomme, Tommette

          o fresh, half-dry, dry

            With different shapes and sizes (round, pyramid, heart ...)
            With some variations with spices (cumin, chili...) or other condiments (échalotes...)

            All lovers of fine cheeses will find that which meets their taste.
            Dry, creamy, sweet or spicy, each cheese has a unique flavor.
            Plain or with nuts or jam, hot or cold, taste as you wish ...

      DIRECT SALES

            On the farm:

                  Shop open during the winter:
                  Monday-Wednesday-Friday-Saturday-Sunday 15:30 to 18:30
             
          o Other times by appointment

          o Closed in the summer
        
            In the grazing: In summer only

            The full sample includes:

      During the winter and spring, come visit the farm and taste, with family, your children or in groups.

      Pascal Payot, will share the passion for his craft. Trade in endangered in the Chamonix Valley ...
      Many just enjoy the support and production.

          o. 1 hot beverage, bread & butter, jam farm

          o extra, homemade pastry (depending on the chef's mood), dishes of cheese, cheese strainers

            Reservations strongly recommended
            Maximum 34 people

      In summer, go and discover the life on the Blaitière grazing under the Aiguille du Midi.

      An original idea of a family trip with a break and enjoy buying cheese from goats in the grazing.

PASCAL PAYOT also trekking guide, trainer of trek leaders, specialist in wildlife (first prize for agricultural Wildlife festival 2008, for the best action for wildlife) offers other educational activities.

From wildlife nature walks to slide shows, it is for every visitor and specially constituted groups: schools, holiday resorts...
