  • The Argentière Ice Falls

    Ice Climbing in Chamonix
    There are three sites at Argentière:
    1. Left side of the Argentière glacier
    (under the Hotel)
    2. Right side of the Argentière glacier
    (opposite the Hotel)
    3. The Crémerie


    The Crémerie ice falls Alt (1350m)
    The ice falls here are easily angled and are popular with beginners and guides.

    From the Grands Montets car park follow the sign to "Chamonix Mont Blanc Hélicoptére" (CMBH), park in front of the DZ. A path leads to the ice falls from here (about 20 mins)
