Following last month's tragic, fatal accident, where one member of a boisterous group of French holidaymakers, fell out of the Planpraz gondola, there was plenty of talk about adding more signs warning against dangerous behavior.

Yesterday the 3 legged race was canceled 15 minutes before the race was due to start, but that didn't stop the teams that came dressed up in fancy dress.
Despite the rain in town, the teams, already in full costume, went on the pub crawl anyway. Starting at the MBC and finishing at the Vert, teams still guzzled shots and beer.
Today, Marty, a.k.a the Loch Ness Monster, (who had changed out of his green costume to sport a pink wig) bragged that, had the race not been canceled, his team would have won. Quizzed on whether or not there were plenty of participants he said there were "many beautiful people" but "less than enough." Asked whether or not they still had enough to drink, he said "If the Scottish guys hadn't been following behind, then we would've drunk less."
All in all the teams that went on the pub crawl anyway said they still had a good time. Some could remember where the pub crawl started but weren't quite sure where it finished (or maybe just wouldn't say.)
