This weekend, the 27th and 28th of June 2009, the Marathon and the Cross du Mont Blanc will take place in Chamonix Mont Blanc.
42km for the Mont Blanc Marathon and 21km for the Mont Blanc Cross are the distances to run through the Chamonix Valley, with a vertical climb of 2511 meters and 1490 meters of descent along the trail, it makes the Mont Blanc Marathon one of the most dificult marathons to finish.
