The apartment is in a building in the old village of Le Tour at the head of the Chamonix valley. The village has 2 bars/restaurants and is 2km from Argentiere where there is a supermarket and a good variaty of other shops, bars and restaurants. Le Tour gets a lot more sun than other areas around Chamonix because it is in a higher and more open part of the valley. The windows look onto the old church and some very picturesque old houses, it is also possible to see the Le Tour Glacier. The apartment has parking just in front of the garden and is just 50 meters from the ski area car park. The Le Tour Gondola is just a 2 minute walk from the apartment.
