Open for lunch with inside seating and a terrace, this rustic chalet refuge is accessed by skiing the black runs from the top of the Grands Montets (Point de Vue or Pylons/Blanchots) or up an access cattrack for pedestrians from the Grands Montets midstation. It's possible (and recommended in high season) to book ahead.

Situated at the top of the Plan Joran chair and at the bottom of the three Dream Forest chairs, the area is a good ski meeting point, but also accessible for pedestrians via a short walk along the cat-track from the Lognan cable car.

1926: Georges RAVANEL cut ice from the glacier to sell to local hotels and restaurants. Then he built a cabin at the snout of the glacier. It became an infamous watering hole for thirsty hikers. Its accessed on the right near the bottom of the Pierre-a-Ric home run (or on foot up an access road from the bottom of the Grands Montets).
