Chamonix Snowparks : Les Houches Bellevue Snowpark
Finally a snowpark in Les Houches! You can find it along the Schusse des Dames piste with two parts. The first area is for beginners and will be located at the top of the run. The second will be located at the bottom of the piste and is for freestylers ready for a fun challenge!
As freestyle in snow parks has its risks like many other sports, we will give you some simple tips and rules to follow. Keep in mind that the snowpark staff will be happy to answer any questions.
Color Codes: Green – Easy Blue – Middle Red – Hard Black – Very Hard
Rules of the Snowpark : 1) You should check out each path/jump before using it 2) Use jumps/routes as intended and within your level 3) You should always warm up and stretch before hitting the park 4) Always make sure the landing area is free before jumping 5) Respect the riding order 6) Keep your speed under control 7) Don’t stay in the landing area longer than needed. If you fall, clear the area as soon as possible. Never climb a jump no matter what the reason: loss of material, etc. 8) Wearing a helmet and other safety gear is highly recommended 9) In case of accident, block off the area and call for help immediately 10) If you want to take photos, keep to the side and stay aware of your surroundings
