Where is Chamonix?
Half way down the east side of France, just below lake Geneva, Chamonix is one of the more northerly of the French alpine resorts. At the foot of the highest mountain in Europe, the Mont Blanc, it is only an 1 hour 15 minute car drive from Geneva international airport.
