 Avalanche Academy Awareness Lectures in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

Some helpful tips to keep you safe this winter season 2016-2017, delivered in English, by an IFMGA Mountain Guide living full-time in Chamonix valley.

Arc'teryx is supporting the lectures. The lectures are FREE, and aim to teach people the main causes of avalanches, how to avoid being caught, and what to do if you are.

Useful info:

  • Venue: Lectures will be held at Bighorn Bar and Bistro in Chamonix Sud, opposite to Aiguille du Midi cable car;
  • Time: on Tuesdays and Mondays evening from 6pm to 7pm;
  • RDV: 6, 13 December and 2, 9, 16 January.

Before the RDV, head over to Bighorn Bar and Bistro, grab a drink and get ready for the Avalanche Academy Awareness Lecture!
