Good news: the outdoor pool of the Chamonix swimming pool will open this summer 2023!
Work on the outdoor basin of the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc swimming pool, led by the services of the Community of Communes of the Valley, is proceeding according to schedule and the installation will be operational for this summer.
Taking advantage of particularly mild weather during the winter, the masonry company was able to develop the surroundings and the Austrian company already began the construction of the basin itself.
The various stainless steel elements arrived on site in February and they are currently being assembled. The Austrian company is one of the most recognized companies in stainless steel technology.
A more durable "Inox" pool with many advantages
The solution of a "stainless steel" pool has many advantages which won the support of the elected officials: longevity of the pool, lower operating costs, extension of its period of use in spring and autumn.
This is the first phase of the complete redevelopment of the outdoor facilities of the sports center swimming pool. The outdoor play pools will be finalized at a later date.
