Falls, collisions and icy tracks on the menu for the PGHM

 
 

Tuesday, on the 1th of January 2019, The Chamonix High Mountain Rescue Team (PGHM) made several salvage missions. In the morning, the rescue team went to the Brévent, Jaillet and Tour domains to come to the rescue of people who had fallen or collided. In the afternoon, three wounded people were evacuated as a result of collions, as well as a group of stuck people because of icy tracks in Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce.

Four interventions for the Mountain Rescue Team in Annecy

Two days ago, the members of the High Mountain Rescue Team in Chamonix together with firefighters intervened by helicopter four times, including three times in the afternoon: in Saisies (Savoie) for a femur trauma and in Clusaz and Cordon for ankle injuries. The three wounded people were transported to Annecy's Hospital.

In the morning, in Avoriaz, a ski patroller of the station dropped a chairlift, injuring his core area; He was quickly transported to Annecy's Hospital by helicopter.
