The photographer Mario Colonel, accompanied by Pierre Raphoz, will organize in October 2023, the first edition of the Chamonix photo festival.
A promising novelty in the local cultural and event landscape whose objective will be to celebrate the natural heritage of the valley.
In total, more than 300 photos taken in the surrounding landscapes will be exhibited in the various communal rooms of the Chamonix valley.

The program will include conferences, meetings, two movie nights, and autographs.
The festival will provide an opportunity for photographers from around the world to win an award.
The event will be free for all minors and for adults with a Via'Cham card.
