Chamonix - Rouen: 3-6

The Pioneers of Chamonix received Rouen at home on Sunday and they knew that fighting against one of the leaders of the championship would be difficult.

Moreover, Rouen 's players imposed themselves from the very beginning, scoring the first two points in 9'49 "and 11'22", first by Nicolas Deschamps (Joel Caron, Kevin Dusseau) and respectively by Julien Msumbu (Bastien Maia, Maurin Bouvet).

The Pioneers continued the fight and reduced the gap when Mathieu Briand (Joonas Sammalmaa, Santeri Saari) scored after 17'48''.

The situation got even more complicated for the Pioneers as the Dragons of Rouen scored another two goals in the second third, first one after 2'07'' by Nicolas Deschamps and second by Nicolas Ritz at 16'30''.

The beginning of the third round brought a little hope for the Pioneers of Chamonix, as Malo Ville scored in 6'41''.

However, the Dragons did not stop and scored two more goals (Joris Bedin, 13'28'', and Nicolas Ritz, 16'31'').

Henric Andersen scored the last goal of the match for the Pioneers, but it was already too late.

This was the second defeat in a row for the Pioneers of Chamonix.

On Tuesday, the 24th of September 2019, they will go to Grenoble.
