According to Le Dauphine, Finland's Timo Saarikoski is expected to replace Heikki Leime on Chamonix's Pionniers bench.
Heikki Leime took the Pioneers of Chamonix in the quarter-finals play-offs of Ligue Magnus for the first time since 2015. Read more about Chamonix's former coach.
Chamonix's new coach played for Jokerit (Finnish first division of ice hockey) before retiring and becoming an assistant and later the head coach of Lukko U20s.
Coaching the Pioneers of Chamonix will also be the first experience abroad for Timo Saarikoski.
