Chalet Chapelle is just over 500 metres from the village of les Praz with several shops, a choice of bars and restaurants and a grocery store. At the far end of the village is the Flegere ski lift (just under 1km, 10 minutes on foot). Chamonix itself is just under 2km away, just over 20 minutes on foot via the path alongside the river and past the tennis club, spa and sports centre/pool. For public transport, there is a bus stop very close by on the main road, with the nearest train station at les Praz, about 1100 metres from the chalet.
