Specialising in mountain photography, both as a professional photographer as well as a professional mountaineer, Mario Colonel has been living in Chamonix for the past 20 years. Vagabond of the mountaintops, he has trekked to the four corners of the word, with expeditions in the Himalayas, Patagonia, Canada and Bolivia.

Cat Kartal is one of the well known mountain painters in the valley. Her atelier is open to public every afternoon in the summer. There, you will be able to see her beautiful paintings , as well as cards and posters. She also gives painting lessons, in and outdoors, for children and adults.
