Want a better idea of what a ski week in Chamonix will cost you? Want to know how to budget for your ski holiday and don't want to leave anything out?

You can either go with one of the catered chalet companies or other tour operators which provide package deals or you can plan your holiday in Chamonix from scratch yourself.

Here's a quick overview of what else you might need during your ski holiday besides Accommodation and a general idea on how much it costs.

  A 6 day adult Chamonix Le Pass costs 192 Euros
  A 6 day adult Mont Blanc Unlimited pass costs 235 Euros
  
  The basic difference between the two passes is that the Mont Blanc Unlimited Pass allows you to go up the Aiguille du Midi and the top of the Grands Montets as well as over into Italy.

- Airport Transfers
  In the ski season, Shared Airport Transfers cost 15-40€ per person per transfer from Geneva airport. Waiting time and pick up/drop off points vary.
  
  If you'd like a different sort of service, there are also Private Airport Transfers and Taxis.
- In Chamonix
  During the day there is the Chamonix Bus, free with your ski pass.
  
  The SNCF train up and down the valley is free with your Carte d'Hôte.
  
  If you are planning staying out late and don't live near town, you'll have to look into the Taxi option.
- Restaurants and Bars
  How much does a meal cost in Chamonix? It all depends on what you want to eat, but here's a general idea.
- Restaurants
  One course meal with some beer in a pub style restaurant = approx 25€
  Traditional Savoyarde dinner, set menus 18-35€
