Adaptive Skiing in Chamonix - Skiing with Disabilities in Chamonix

chamonix handicap ski adaptative ski winter skiThe four major ski areas/resorts (Les Houches, Les Grands Montets, Brévent/Flégere, Le Tour/ Balme) of the Chamonix valley are not connected. Public transport or a car is required to travel between the ski areas. All ski stations have stairs but no lifts or ramps to access the cable cars. The nursery slopes have easy access.
 
Chamonix has several ski schools offering courses in skiing for people with various disabilities. The staff are fully trained (Ecole de Ski Francais) and speak good English. They have uniski, dualski and sit ski.
