Buses between Italy: Torino / Milano / Aosta / Courmayeur and the Chamonix Valley: SAVDA / SAT
Price for Chamonix/Courmayeur is 13 Euros One way / 20 Euros Roundtrip (2012 prices)
Price for Chamonix/Aoste is 16 Euros One way / 26 Euros Roundtrip (2012 prices)
Return fares for Courmayeur and Aosta are only for the same day
Price for Chamonix/Milano is 31,50 Euros one way, 53,50 Euros roundtrip (2012 prices)
The shuttle service between Chamonix and Courmayeur is free for Mont Blanc unlimited pass holders of 2 days or more.
Reservations must be made by 5:00p.m. the day before. The bus will stop at La Palud (Funivie Monte Bianco). In Courmayeur there is a shuttle service for Entreves, Dolonnes, and the cable car.
SAVDA has an office at the Chamonix train station with the SAT bus company.

Buses between Switzerland, Trient / Martigny and Chamonix
Between Switzerland and the Chamonix Valley: Col de la Forclaz - Trient - Vallorcine - Le Buet

The TMR bus operates in winter to Vallorcine. The bus to Switzerland resumes in June, but only goes as far as the Chatelard train station on the Swiss/French border.
From here is a a bus to Trient and all the way to Matigny. Buses that stop at Vallorcine, Le Buet and Chatelard all stop at the train station providing easy access to connections by train.
- From Vallorcine or Le Buet you can take the train to Chamonix.
- Between Martigny (Switzerland) and the Chamonix Valley. Take the train.
