A large crowd of spectators cheered the Chamonix Chamois to a 6 to 2 victory over Caen at the Richard Bozon ice rink in Chamonix.

Although Caen started out well, by the end of the 2nd period the Chamois and the Drakkars were 3 to 2, but it could still have gone either way. Tensions were high since the loser would be demoted out of the Magnus League.

But, much to the spectators delight, in the third period Chamonix dominated all the way, finishing with the score 6:2.
