Landslide closes Tramway du Mont Blanc today - Chamonix news (Jun 17 2008)
A landslide of approximately 10m3 of earth just below the Col de Voza closed the Tramway du Mont Blanc today.
The Compagnie du Mont Blanc will clear the track today and tomorrow and will open the Tramway on or before the 19th of June.Bad weather and the incessant torrential rain is most probably the cause of the landslide.
