In Chamonix this weekend: Mont Blanc Marathon, Cross & Vertical Km

A big weekend in Chamonix is approaching. All start this afternoon in the Chamonix Main Square (Place Balmat). The weekend of the Mont Blanc Marathon will include 4 competitions: the Mont Blanc Marathon, the Cross du Mont Blanc, the Vertical Km and the 10km race.

Here's the program of the Mont Blanc Marathon

FRIDAY 29 JUNE 2012
16h00 : Vertical Km at Place Balmat
Time trial, one athlete starts every 30 seconds
20h30 : Awards Cerimony of the Verical Km

SATURDAY 30 JUNE 2012
08h30 : CROSS DU MONT-BLANC ~ 23 km
9h00 : 10 KM DU MONT-BLANC
11h00 : MINI-CROSS ~ de 800m à 3 km
11h00 - 17h : Lunch at the Sports Center
15h00 : Awards Cerimony of the Cross du Mont-Blanc - Place Balmat

SUNDAY 1 JULY 2012
7h00 : MARATHON DU MONT-BLANC ~ 42 km
11h30 - 17h : Lunch at the Sports Center
16h30 : Awards Cerimony of the Marathon du Mont-Blanc - Place Balmat
