Native from Chamonix Valley, George Hottegindre is a representative of the fifth generation of a family of planners, guides and ski instructors, restaurateurs and mountain hoteliers since 1928, in Bellevue and Prarion.
Former coach of the French Ski Team, he participated actively in the construction of lifts of Les Houches ski area.
Naturally, he has given a very personal touch in building in the purest respect of the architectural traditions of our mountains, that is to say, stone and wood, a mountain restaurant named "Le Hors Piste" is a symbol of this tradition.
This authentic restaurant has become the vital rendez vous with its exceptional location, just meters from the famous descent of Kandahar, where skiers and snowboarders are numerous on a beautiful sunny terrace with amazing views of the Mont Blanc.
Since summer 2009, an Orientation table made from glazed lava stone, hand painted, completes the welcoming equipment from the restaurant where the quality and hospitality does not disappoint visitors attracted by the beauty and harmony of the architecture.
