Skyway Monte Bianco cable car in Courmayeur (Aosta valley)

skyway monte-bianco ascends to point helbronner, Skyway top station lights up under a night sky

Update 04 October 2024

The uniqueness of the Skyway Monte Bianco experience lies in its ability to continuously amaze its visitors.
Skyway Monte Bianco is not just a cable car, but a journey: reaching the highest point in Italy and the closest to the summit of Mont Blanc. It is a vertical, gastronomic, cultural, and even surreal journey.

Open year-round, Skyway Monte Bianco is magical in every season.

The cable car is a journey of discovery of Mont Blanc, with its eternal snow, granite rocks, and millennial glaciers. It’s an elevated experience, offering a different perspective on the world. Each season is unique and reveals breathtaking panoramas.

At Pavillon, the intermediate station, visitors are welcomed by the winter Infinity Walk, Hangar 2173, which preserves the history of the cable car, exhibitions, the surreal Mont Blanc Infinity Room, and in summer, the Saussurea Botanical Garden.

At this altitude, 2,173 meters, there are also two meeting rooms: an alpine cinema with 148 seats and La Verticale room for hosting up to 70 people. It’s the ideal place for a business meeting, gathering, or to elevate thoughts, making them more cutting-edge.

At Punta Helbronner, the summit station at 3,466 meters, visitors encounter the dizzying SkyVertigo walkway and the 360-degree Observatory. La Feltrinelli is the highest bookstore in Europe.
From here, you can observe peaks over 4,000 meters: Cervino, Monte Rosa, Grand Combin, and Gran Paradiso, along with millennial cobalt-blue glaciers.

During the ascent, you can enjoy the flavors and wonders that each station offers to visitors. You can book a lunch at the Alpine Restaurant in Pavillon, at 2,173 meters, or at the Kartell Bistrot Panoramic at Punta Helbronner, projected towards infinity.

Each station offers a unique experience depending on its altitude.

An ascent to be experienced in one breath, while the cabins gently rotate on themselves, revealing the breathtaking beauty of the mountains.
