The British athlete officially announced his participation late last week in a video shared by the race organizers, a few days after dropping out of the Transgrancanaria, which was won by Jonathan Albon, another British runner.
To achieve a double victory in Chamonix, Tom Evans will have to overcome a formidable team opponents that includes Kilian Jornet, four-time UTMB winner, who announced his participation a few weeks ago, Jim Walmsley, Mathieu Blanchard, Baptiste Chassagne, Théo Detienne, Vincent Bouillard, Caleb Olson, and Ben Dhiman. A truly impressive lineup!
