Chamonix Library
The Chamonix - Nord Library hosts 46,000 books in a modern and comfortable setting covering all types of literature, sciences and art. There is also a children's library, a games library and a music library.
Opening times
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesday: from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. & 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Closed on Sunday and Monday.

One price for all the library network:
Full price : €28,00
Reduction: €14,00
Temporary card ( 3 weeks ): €7,00
Free entrance for minor children attending school or residents of the Community of Communes.
You can borrow: 5 books, 5CD, 3 DVDs, 3 magazines, 3 games/video games/CD-ROM.
Loan duration: 2 weeks. In case of delay: € 1 per week of delay

Argentière Library
A beautiful place to discover the richness of natural spaces, fun and free entertainment.
During the school holidays, an entertainment program is also offered to the general public: nature outings, film screenings, short themed evenings.
A selection of books (3691) for adults and young people.
Opening times:
July - August: Monday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
From September to December, Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
