PGHM rescuers, helicopter crews from the gendarmerie and civil security, as well as the Chamoniarde association, Smur medics, and dog handlers—all those involved in mountain rescue will be present.
This Saturday, June 14, 2025, is the open day at the helicopter base, known as the Drop Zone (DZ) des Bois in Chamonix.
The day will begin at 10 a.m. and run until 6 p.m.
For children, a climbing wall will be open to young climbers.
A small refreshment bar and food will be available on site.
