Twenty days after setting a new record between Chamonix and Zermatt, Mathéo Jacquemoud has done it again. On Saturday, April 25, with Samuel Equy, he completed the Chamonix-Mont Blanc round trip on skis in 4 hours, 41 minutes, and 24 seconds, beating the time of Italian William Boffelli by two minutes, despite challenging glacial conditions.

This Saturday, April 25, Mathéo Jacquemoud and Samuel Equy, winner of the 2026 Patrouille des Glaciers, completed the Chamonix-Mont Blanc round trip on skis in 4 hours, 41 minutes, and 24 seconds, improving by two minutes the record set on May 31, 2025, by Italian William Boffelli (4 hours, 43 minutes, and 24 seconds).

The two ski mountaineers set off at 6:56 a.m. from the church square in Chamonix (1,030 m), heading towards the summit at 4,806 m.

Samuel Equy reached the summit in 3 hours and 41 minutes, Mathéo Jacquemoud in 3 hours and 42 minutes. The descent was completed in 1 hour and 40 minutes, despite hard, wind-affected snow.
