3rd edition of Evergreen Endurance Triathlons
The Evergreen Endurance Triathlons is to take place from Saturday 9th to Sunday 10th September 2017.
An event organized by the association Evergreen Endurance that has been committed for the last 3 years to offer to its athletes the most beautiful and greenest long distance triathlon races in the world!
This year more than 500 athletes from around the world are expected to attend this unique eco-responsible long distance triathlon event, where responsibility and sustainability are placed at the same level as the sporting challenge itself.
3 legendary races for more than 500 athletes:
Evergreen 228, Evergreen 118 and Evergreen 58
This year, three distances will be offered to athletes:

Evergreen 228, the ultimate challenge of triathlon (4km of swimming in lake / 190 km of bike on road / 42km of running in trail), a qualified route of mythique with 7775m of elevation gain, to perform individual or by team of two or three athletes;

Evergreen 118 (2km of swimming in the lake / 95 km of bike on the road / 21km of trail running), an exceptional course with 3680m of elevation gain, to perform individual or by team of two or three athletes;

Evergreen 58 (1,5km of lake swimming / 52km of bike on the road / 13km of trail running), with 2347m of elevation gain, the only triathlon in the world to offer a route crossing 2 countries (Switzerland and France)!

The athletes will swim in the magnificent Montriond lake (near Morzine - Haute-Savoie), climb 5 major passes of Savoie and Haute-Savoie (Col de Joux Verte, Col de Joux Plane, Col de Romme, Col de la Colombière, Col des Aravis) and will take the most beautiful trails of the Chamonix Valley by running the Brévent, Montenvers, Signal de Forbes, Plan de l'Aiguille, before finally descending to the foot of the mythical cable car 'Aiguille du Midi, near the center of Chamonix where the local pwople will welcome them on one of the finest finishing lines in the world!
