The Mont-Blanc Marathon

The 17th edition of the Mont-Blanc Marathon

The Mont-Blanc Marathon 2018 is to take place from Thursday 27 June to Sunday 30th June in Chamonix Mont-Blanc valley.

Eight different races under the single Mont-Blanc Marathon brand. Over 10,000 riders are expected.

90km du Mont-Blanc: 91km / 6220m D+ / 6220m D-
42km du Mont-Blanc: 42km / 2730m D+ /1700m D-
23km du Mont-Blanc: 23km / 1665m D+ / 621m D-
KM Vertical: 3,8km / 1000m D+
10km du Mont-Blanc: 10km / 325m D+ / 325m D-
Mont Blanc Mini Cross: Children's races between 800m - 3km
Duo étoilé: Night Race by team of two for beginner trail runners: 19km with an elevation gain of 1270m.
Young Race Marathon: a 15 km run reserved for the younger categories, juniors and hopes on the Marathon du Mont Blanc.

Pre-registration for 90km, 42km, 23km races is closed. Registration open on 16th October 2017.

Still places available for the Duo étoilé, 10km, KM Vertical, Young Race Marathon, Mini Cross. No draw for registrations for these races, you can register until the available places are exhausted.

Mont Blanc 90km

To participate in this race it's recommended having a really good experience in Montagne races, to be confident in all the fields and to be autonomous during several hours. We bring to your attention that a runner who does not have more than 410 ITRA points is unlikely to finish the race. Thus, we recommend these runners to choose another race of the Mont-Blanc Marathon races.

Pre-registration for groups

It's possible to make a group pre-registration (minimum 2 persons and a maximum of 10 persons in a group). The main interest is that each runner of a group has the same draw result as the other members of the group (selected or not). The probability of being drawn is the same for all runners, whether pre-entered individually or in groups.

The first member of a group who registers must click on" Group registration" to get a number that he will give to the other members of the group. They will have to write this number in the field " Group registration" when they register. A group can only be composed of runners participating in the same race.
