The 9th edition of the Mont Blanc Ski Challenge
The Mont Blanc Ski Challenge is to take place on Sunday 10th December 2017 at Balme - Le Tour ski area, Argentière. Organized by Mont Blanc Ski & Guide Compagnie, the Mont Blanc Ski Challenge is the first ski-mountaineering race to open the Alpine Ski race season 2017/2018.
Ski mountaineering race open to all, including 3 different routes, between 450m and 1400m difference in height.
The Mont Blanc Ski Challenge is for everyone: ski-mountaineering (1650m difference in height) but also for beginners with the "Le petit Challenge" (900m difference in height).
New 2017: race in the family format "The Randathlon". An event of 400m altitude difference played by team of 2, an adult and a child between 12 and 15 years old and including a rifle shooting.
3 different races, for each level: Mont Blanc Ski Challenge, Le petit Challenge, Le Randathlon.
The biggest names in ski-mountaineering (nearly 300 participants of different nationalities) come every year at the Mont Blanc Ski Challenge.

Registration price: €40 (same price for all the ski races).

9am - 10:30am: Withdrawal of the bibs.
11am: First departure.
2pm: Award ceremony.
