For one week, the Chamonix Valley will resonate with the rhythms of great classical music. The Chamonix Valley Classics Festival brings together internationally renowned artists for a series of exceptional concerts in the heart of some of the most beautiful cultural venues: Saint-Michel Church and the EMC2 concert hall.
To kick off the festival on Wednesday, July 29, the exceptional pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet will perform works by Beethoven, Haydn, and Ravel with virtuosity and a keen sense of interpretation.
Other concerts will follow, featuring talented musicians such as the Modigliani Quartet, one of Europe's most celebrated string quartets, the prodigious cellist Edgar Moreau, the pianist Boris Giltburg, and the wonderful Danel Quartet.
