Chamonix: Opening Summer Season 16 June 2018


According to a press release from Mont-Blanc Natural Resort, the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc announces the opening of tourist sites and lifts in the Chamonix Mont Blanc Valley from Saturday 16th June 2018 morning!

Montenvers – Mer de Glace:

Train + Cable car = open
Ice Cave and other attractions = open

Aiguille du Midi:

Chamonix – Plan de l’Aiguille Cable Car = opening 7th July 2018
Plan de l’Aiguille – Aiguille du Midi Cable Car = opening 7th July 2018


Planpraz Cable car = open
Brévent Cable Car = opening postponed until 23rd June 2018
