Two mountaineers Carried Away in an Avalanche at Mont Maudit


On 20 June 2020, two Austrian mountaineers got carried away in an avalanche near Mont Maudit (4,465 m or 14,649 ft).

The PGHM of Chamonix intervened and rescued the two mountaineers. One is unharmed, while the other suffered minor injuries.
