Generally, conditions haven't changed much in the last few days. Brevent had some good soft spring snow this afternoon, and the visibility wasn't bad, despite the clouds. The views in between the clouds were stunning, with the Mont Blanc glowing over the other side of the valley. There were a few snow flakes falling on the mountain, but nothing significant at all. It was pretty quiet on the slopes, but everything was open at Brevent/Flegere, which spreads people out a bit.
It is already one full week since the last snowfall of 30cm, and it looks like there is at least another week of sunshine and spring skiing, maybe cooler again tomorrow, but getting progressively warmer again during the week. These are great conditions for exploring the Chamonix ski areas, and taking a break to relax on a sunny terrace on the mountainside.
For beginners, there is still snow in the beginner ski areas at the bottom of the valley, especially at Planards, Savoy and Vormaine, and nordic skiing is still on too.
