Col des Aravis Road Bike Trip Starting from Chamonix Mont-Blanc

It's a classic. With two of the most legendary passes/cols of the Alps and of the Tour de France: the Col des Aravis and the Col de la Colombiere.

From Chamonix - Mont Blanc, you must know that you can not take the highway, you must follow Les Houches and subsequently descend via Vaudagne. The rest of the course/tour is super easy to find, just follow the good guidance on road signs.

It is a very nice tour / trip, especially because of this two emblematic passes/cols. If you do it in July or August, you must pay attention to the heat and cars in the road.

It took us around 6h30 all, leaving Chamonix and coming back to Chamonix, in some cool mind and no stress pace. You can do it in the opposite sense, but the way up to the Col de la Combière it's much harder.
