Disabled Access: Is Chamonix Wheelchair Accessible?

The Chamonix Ski Lifts and Sightseeing Places

Not all lifts are wheelchair accessible.

  • The Aiguille du Midi: you can go all the way up and go up the elevator and go to most viewing platforms. You will not be able to go on the Helbronner Panoramic lift.
  • The Montenvers: you can go on the train and out on the viewing area. You will not be able to take the gondola down to the ice cave.
  • Flégère is not wheelchair accessible.
  • The Grands Montets is not wheelchair accessible.
