MONT-BLANC: Climber plays piano at the top of the Mont Blanc

"Imagine", "Peny lane", "Song for a guy", "Breakfast in America"... Les Beatles, Elton John or Supertramp...

This was the list of musics that the mountain guide Philippe Génin, who recently took his piano of 8 pounds to the top of Mont Blanc (4810m) for a small concert, played. This event sounds like a first one.

This professional mountain guide, Franco-Swiss, based in La Roche-sur-Foron (Haute-Savoie) wanted to combine his two passions: music and mountains. Thirty climbers attended his performance.

And his objectives don't stop here, at the end of August he leaves for the Himalayas. Objective: playing the piano on the top of the Cho Oyu, one of the summits over 8000m.
