Chamonix defeats Dijon by 4-3

5h day of the Coupe de la Ligue: Chamonix Hockey Club had overcome Les Duckes de Dijon on penalties in a home match yesterday on the Richard Bozon Icerink.

It was a game  with lot of pressure for players during all three periods of the match. The last minutes were played under a bit more aggressive note, but the high pressure turned to be a very effective tactic for Chamonix's players who, by the end of the match, dedicated us a beautiful victory. The Stéphane Gros's men took advantage of all good moments to attack the adversary team and succeeded some high performances.

Ilpo Salmivirta was the author of the winning goal and the star of the match. With his burst of speed, the poise and precision, managed to overcome Dijon's goalkeeper, Victor Pimbert, in a one-to-one confrontation. Final score 4-3.

For les Chamois, this was the last D group match and a great victory against Dijon. Yet, this victory does not assure them a place in the quarter-finals of Coupe de la Ligue. The players still have to wait the other results. In the meantime, get ready to sweat and scream as loud as you can for the next match. Magnus League is back: Chamonix team up against Anger.

Rendez-vous Saturday evening at 8:30pm on the Richard Bozon Icerink
A match that will not leave you cold. Go go go Les Chamois!
