In ski mountaineering, Margot Ravinel triumphs at the Solitude World Cup (USA) and sends a strong message ahead of the 2026 Olympics
Margot Ravinel, an athlete with the Chamonix Sports Club, secured her first World Cup victory by winning the Sprint in Solitude (USA) on Sunday evening.
Margot Ravinel made a significant impact in the race for Olympic qualification. With Emily Harrop, Marianne Fatton, and Ana Alonso Rodriguez absent, the Haute-Savoie native was considered the favorite in the sprint. And she lived up to expectations, despite being only 23 years old.
First in the qualifying rounds, her quarter-final, and her semi-final, the Chamonix native dominated the final to claim her first World Cup victory. Having already reached the podium four times, she sent a strong message with this early-season triumph.
