The Gros Rognon is a small variation on the classic Vallee Blanche route. After skiing down the first quarter or so of the normal route, you go left to get into some less tracked snow.
You can now test your technique in deeper snow and over slightly steeper terrain. The views are astonishing and you have to feel comfortable skiing in all types of snow to get the most out of it!
