The Haute-Savoie Department officially took over the management of the Mont-Blanc Tramway on Monday, May 18, ending the public service delegation contract held by the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc since 1964.
On November 3, 2025, the Haute-Savoie Department, owner of the Mont-Blanc Tramway (TMB), decided to terminate the public service delegation contract and take over the management of the line. This took effect on Monday, May 18.
