Closed since the tragedy of August 20, the Egratz descent will reopen this Thursday, December 11. The committee of experts approved, this Wednesday, December 10, the extensive work undertaken to secure the mountainside from which a one-meter-high rock fell, killing two young passengers.
After nearly four months of closure, the Egratz descent will reopen this Thursday, December 11, in the early afternoon. "The decision was contingent upon the visit carried out this Wednesday, December 10, by a committee of experts who examined the safety measures that had been implemented. They determined that all the necessary steps had been taken," explains Emmanuelle Dubée, Prefect of Haute-Savoie.
