From August 25th to 30th, Chamonix will be alive with the UTMB and the nearly 10,000 runners registered for its various events. Find the full program for the week of races around Mont Blanc.

Monday 25 August

La Petite Trotte à Léon (PTL) 
This first race features a grand tour of Mont Blanc, covering 300 km and 25,000 meters of elevation gain. In inseparable pairs or trios, the trail runners will set off from the Chamonix Valley at 8 a.m., with the first arrivals nearly 100 hours later, on the afternoon of Friday, August 29

Martigny-Combe à Chamonix (MCC)
The 40km race, reserved for volunteers, partners and local residents, will start at 10am. A 2,350m ascent is on the menu for this event linking France and Switzerland, including the iconic Col de la Forclaz and Col de Balme. The first arrivals are expected in Chamonix at 1pm (men) and 1.30pm (women).

Trace des Ducs de Savoie (TDS)
148 km and 9,300 m of elevation gain await ultra-trailers in this 100 miles race. The start is scheduled for 11:50 p.m. in Courmayeur. The first arrivals are expected the following day around 6 p.m. for men and 10 p.m. for women. Athletes will not be allowed to exceed the time limit of 44 hours and 55 minutes.

Tuesday 26 August

Youth Chamonix Courmayeur (YCC)
Two events in two days, this is what awaits young trail runners born between 2006 and 2011. The second race, called "YCC the Revenge," will see athletes start in the opposite direction of the previous day's results.

Expérience Trail Courmayeur (ETC)
Near the highest European mountain, in the heart of the Italian Alps, 15 km and 1,200 meters of elevation gain await the trail runners.
For this short format, the start is scheduled for 2 p.m., with the first finishers just 1 hour and 15 minutes later.

Wednesday 27 August

Youth Chamonix Courmayeur (YCC)
The second race, called "YCC the Revenge," will see athletes start in the opposite direction of the previous day's results.

Thursday 28 August

Orsières-Champex-Chamonix (OCC)
Nicknamed "the little Swiss sister," the UTMB World Series 50K final will see the first athletes set off at 8:15 a.m. from Orsières, covering 57 km and 3,500 m of elevation gain.
Their arrivals are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. (men) and 2:00 p.m. (women), but be careful not to exceed the 14-hour, 30-minute time limit.

Friday 29 August

Courmayeur-Champex-Chamonix (CCC)
The UTMB's little sister, 101 km long with 6,050 m of elevation gain, will start at 9 a.m.
The first finishers of the 100K category final are scheduled 10 hours later for the men, and around 8:45 p.m. for the men. The maximum time for this race is 26 hours and 30 minutes.

Ultra Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB)

The main race, crossing three countries (France, Switzerland, and Italy), is now the 100M final of the UTMB World Series circuit.
176 km and 10,000 meters of elevation gain await the ultra-trailers who will embark on the adventure starting at 5:45 p.m.
They are expected at the finish line the following day at 1:30 p.m. (men) and 3:30 p.m. (women), with a time limit of 46 hours and 30 minutes.

Saturday 30 August

Ultra Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB)
The first runners are expected at the finish line the following day from 1:30 p.m. (men) and 3:30 p.m. (women), for a time barrier of 46 hours and 30 minutes.

UTMB 2025: Last minute changes announced by organizers
